  2. The Voting Rights Act of 1965
  3. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965
Research 20 minutes: p.709
  1. Please define Supreme Court Cases
  2. List in order from most important to least important.
  3. Explain why you view the cases as important.
Session 2
Lecture 20 minutes: New Frontier
Research 30 minutes:
  1. Choose a famous Writer, Actor, Singer, Personality famous during between 1950s-1960s.
  2. Collect Twenty Facts about their real life.
  3. Watch video of them performing or read their work.
  4. Answer the these questions
    1. How do they fit into Popular Culture of the 1950s
    2. How do they reflect the cultural values of the 1950s
    3. What does their work say about the 1950s
    4. Do they reflect the older or younger generation during the 1950s? Why
    5. Would you like to have their life? Why
